The standard specification used to determine the Test Properties, Test Frequencies, and Recommended Warranty for High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) Smooth and Textured Geomembranes.

The GRI GM13 specification is a model of required properties for a manufacturer to meet or exceed. It is intended to ensure the good quality and performance of the HDPE geomemberane. The certification also helps determine the recommended warranty for the geomembrane material/product. One way of determining whether the geomembrane product line meets the standard requirements is to have an independent testing laboratory evaluate the material and provide a testing report accordingly.

The standard specification used to determine the Test Properties, Testing Frequencies, and Recommended Warranty for the Non-Reinforced (fPP) and Scrim Reinforced Flexible Polypropylene (fPP-R) Geomembranes.

GRI-GCL 3

The standard specification used to determine the Test Methods, Required Properties, and Testing Frequencies of Geosynthetic Clay Liners (GCLs).

This specification covers the Manufacturing Quality Control (MQC) of the GCL. The two general types of GCL covered in this specification are the (1) reinforced and (2) non-reinforced. The specification is intended to aid manufacturers, suppliers, purchasers and users of GCLs to have an acceptable level of effort in Manufacturing Quality Control. It is important to note that this specification does not address the Manufacturing Quality Assurance (MQA)’s product testing and product acceptance criteria. These are outside the scope and performed by an different organization, independent from the manufacturer.
